So you’ve ventured this far, I guess you’re not totally bored?
Ok, then, let’s give you some more stuff to explore. Should you wish to contact me, you can do so at paul@paulburgess.com.

Book

In 2017 I published a book. It sounds fancy doesn’t it but it’s just a kindle book. I decided to write about my experiences in setting up and running a small e-commerce business. Now, although this is a business book which won’t be everyone’s cup of tea, I have tried to write it in an open, honest, easy to read way, that I hope will appeal to everyone. It talks about some of my many failed attempts at being successful in life, the mistakes I made and the stress of running your own business. It’s available on Amazon and if you don’t own a kindle you can just turn your smart phone or iPad into one with the free kindle app. Please leave me a nice review if you like it and maybe I’ll write some more things.

Music

Some of my recent music can be found on Spotify, Bandcamp, Amazon, Soundcloud and most other download/streaming sites.
Since summer 2016 I have been doing some gigs around Sussex with Celtic Simbel which is a little related to my own band Legacy which I have been with since 1997. So if you like traditional/folk/celtic type music you should check those out. I also played with the Seoda girls around county Mayo, Ireland for the last 5 years. There is a facebook page and some demos.
Then we have Paul & Marcus which is me and Marcus doing our rather wacky music which we’ve been doing since about 1990. We have 3 albums which I must make available again as well as enough stuff for several more if I ever get round to it. Our unique music doesn’t exactly have ‘commercial potential’ but I am rather fond of it.

I also have been very involved with my late friend Jimmy Dunning’s music. I worked with him on his solo album in 2003/4 and since he passed have produced two albums from his archive and hopefully some more to come.

I think that’s about it. Of course, there has been other projects and recordings over the years such as The Goats but I think I’ll leave it there.
My Facebook page has my updates and sometimes I use Twitter.
